About the Photographers

When people find out that my wife and I are photographers, we're often asked, "why wedding photography?" The answer is simple: we get to create images that couples will treasure for the rest of their lives. The photographs are a reflection of who they are as individuals and the love they share together. Photography is my passion; people are my inspiration. I look forward to every opportunity to discover a bride and groom's vision for their wedding and make that vision come to life in their wedding photographs. Kristina Junker

David has been shooting professionally since 2002 and holds a degree in Media Arts. He taught himself photography on a manual 35 mm camera and learned to develop his black and white prints in a dark room, which naturally led him to pursue a college degree in the field of visual arts. After graduating from college, David began working professionally for a media production company. Over the past several years, David has gained a considerable amount of experience with still photography using traditional 35 mm film cameras, medium format cameras and digital cameras. Even though most of what he shoots now is digital, shooting and processing film has been a great contributor to his thorough understanding of photography and lighting techniques.

In addition to still photography, David has worked with various advertising and marketing firms to complete a long list of commercial and corporate video assignments. David refers to video as "the most sophisticated and complicated forms of communication which requires the utmost in planning and execution." He is an expert user of various photography, video, and design programs such as Photoshop, Lightroom and Illustrator. David travels across the country teaching classes on Photoshop, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, and other multimedia software titles in Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Pasadena, and New York City. David also directed, co-hosted and published an entire video learning program on lighting control and techniques for digital filmmakers entitled, "Getting a Handle on Grip: Understanding the Fundamentals of a Production Grip."

Kristina began shooting with David as his assistant in 2008. She has a knack for capturing behind-the-scenes action and details. She will also work with you to make all those little details just seem to fall into place. She'll make sure you look your absolute best! David and Kristina truly enjoy working together and taking pictures and, their passion is evident in their work.
