Surprise Proposal in Falls Park

Surprise Proposal in Falls Park

Adam convinced his girlfriend, Lauren, to go for a stroll in the park in the morning, and he had something entirely different planned.  “Oh, see those ducks?  Let’s get a closer look,” was the line he used to get her to walk down toward the Reedy River where Kristina and I (David) were “hiding out” waiting for Adam to make his move. Lauren had a permanent smile on her face, almost in a trance, when Adam turned to her and began his proposal.  The funny part for us was that Lauren was so focused on Adam that it was several minutes before she finally noticed Kristina and me taking pictures. “Where in the world did you come from?” she asked wiping away all the happy tears.  Then, to add to the surprise, Lauren looked up at the Liberty Bridge to see Adam’s family watching from above.  What a great way to start the weekend! Surprise Proposal with a Caricature

Surprise Proposal with a Caricature

Without a doubt, one of the coolest ideas ever!  Dustin proposed to Deborah by arranging for his “friend” Catherine (Dustin and Catherine had actually never met, but Deborah was made to believe they knew each other in high school) to draw a quick caricature of them during their walk in the park.  The dogs sat patiently as Catherine, the caricature artist, drew the proposal (who “just happened to be offering free drawings that day”)…then the big reveal! Deborah was SHOCKED!  I know they’re both having a great time telling THIS story! Check out Caricatures by Catherine in Greenville, SC. More about Caricatures by...

Russell and Jessie’s Engagement Photos at Furman Unviersity

Furman University, the alma mater for both Russell and Jessie, was the perfect location for their engagement pictures.  We even got some great photos in front of Johns Hall, the building where both their college major classes were located. We had a great time photographing them, partly because they’re great in front of the camera…not camera shy AT all!  Also, they’re just so perfect together and love to laugh.  We’re looking forward to photographing their wedding later this year.   Check out Russell & Jessie’s Wedding Photos   View More Engagement...
